The association “Citizens of Magnisia for Health and Environment” was created by active citizens of the Volos region who recognize the very serious problem of burdened nature (and therefore human health) and act at multiple levels to solve it. The purpose of the association as stated in the title is the protection of health and the environment in Magnesia, a particularly polluted area with multiple rates of serious diseases than the average in Greece, as the relevant studies of the University and Medical Association of Magnisia have highlighted.
