Demo + Crates = Democrates. the idea of a participatory event, a community/platform with completely democratic processes open to all: the music heard consists of pieces that the audience has bringed/proposed - all together they compose a unique sound puzzle, a highly interactive listening event, an unrepeatable realtime jukebox, mashup party and music exhibition!

The DemoRates event takes the form of a group of dedicated music lovers and people from the general public who are interested in highlighting contemporary sounds and their music in general, and they are in partnership with the guidance of the team for the result on the spot. At the same time, there is an opportunity to meet and interact with creators and composers, DJs and audiences.

So far it has been implemented at Athens Biennale AB4, Vios Athens, Berlin Fm (ClubCommission partner as part of the Start Program in November 2017) and at selected venues in Athens.
