In peripatos we implement the action Mysterio 68 Stalker in cooperation with the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture, which includes all the elements that we use in our work to promote cultural heritage: participation of the local community, a “from the bottom” approach in a creative and interactive way. The aim is to rebuild the city of Eleusis through the eyes of its people. It is a participatory project of heritage, co-creation of walking paths and city games, in collaboration with the local community. Citizens work with cultural heritage managers, tour guides, expert scientists and artists, to develop interactive experiences in the public space. The result expresses the community, with themes such as the environment, industrial heritage, archaeology and history, etc. Then, the citizens themselves take on the role of storyteller/guide/stalker and invite visitors to discover the multifaceted Eleusis.
