Athens Tap Jam are monthly improvisation nights in the center of Athens, between clappers and musicians. It has been running since 2014 non-stop and creates community through the exhibition in the public space. Through ATJ, the musicians are brought closer to the dancers and they are reminded that dance and music are one. ATJ has served as the main meeting of percussion dancers in Athens and has hosted a number of international names such as Roxane Butterfly, Max Pollak, Heather Cornell, Sara Reich, Guillem Alonso, Thomas Wadelton etc.
