Vasia's educational background lies between theatre (Drama School Delos - Athens), dance (Indonesian Institute of Arts - Yogyakarta) and administration (Athens University of Economics and Business). With her Erasmus Mundus postgraduate studies in International Humanitarian Action, she combined her artistic background with support programmes after a disaster, natural or man-made. He specialized in the role and place of art for both the individual and the community in situations of crisis. She also engaged in the Indonesian martial art White Crane Silat.
Within today's dystopian social construction, she perceives theater and physical practice as a way to remain disciplined in working and functioning intuitively, as fearlessly as possible. To create on impulse, enduring that she has very little knowledge of reality, which is constantly changing anyway.
In search of ways for continuous, nonlinear education, she explores imaginative practices to diverge from the automated and habitual modes of (meta) movement, relationship, existence.
In the direction that multiplicity and diversity in groups that coexist and create together, illuminate how a person sees the world and his place within it, she often coordinates community-based works, merging artistic and social practices.
