Marou Chatzopoulou has studied Plastic Arts and has an MPhil in “Design-Space-Culture” from the Faculty of Architecture of the National Academy of Sciences. As a freelancer, she is active in the field of communication, graphic and web design. She has worked on communication and identity strategies, online interconnection platforms and in the organization and production of programs and actions aimed at supporting and strengthening Civil Society throughout Europe.She is a co-founder of the OMKE COMM'ON where she works on new forms of communication and (participatory) education through experience and outside the systemic methodology. Its aim is to support a more participatory development model of KTI. She is responsible for planning, developing and implementing small and larger projects throughout Greece. Typical projects he has worked on are AKTES (Pocket Arts Academy) and Fertile Soil (Fertilizer Multisite, the next day). Since 2018 she is a member of the Toolkit design and development team of the Tools for Citizens program (www.civilsocietytoolbox.org) while at the same time from 2020 she worked on the organization of the Tandem Europe program. In 2020, as part of a creative group of young people in the field of culture and architecture, they founded the SeedAthens space in Exarchia. Since 2016, she is a member of the Art of Hosting community.
