Mind's Eye is an initiative that creates the condition and choice so that people experiencing partial or total vision loss can come into contact with art. Its purpose is to lift barriers and promote equal access for people with visual disabilities to the different aspects of culture. Mind's Eye was implemented in 2020 in cooperation with the MOMUS-Museum of Contemporary Art and the Center for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind of the Thessaloniki Branch, as part of the Start-Create Cultural Change program. Within the project, professionals from different disciplines collaborated with experts from the community of people with visual disabilities and developed inclusive practices for the interpretation of works of art, proposing new ways to approach and embrace art beyond sight.
