Stergiani (Stella) Tsiarvoula studied Systematic Philosophy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She obtained master's degrees in the fields: Communication & Culture/Management of Cultural Units. She is a PhD Candidate in Cultural Policy at the Department of Journalism & Media- Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She began her professional career at Piraeus Bank. She has worked in museums of Thessaloniki (Museum of Ancient, Byzantine & Post-Byzantine Musical Instruments of the Bank of Macedonia Thrace/Thessaloniki Museum of Photography/Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki/Teloglio Art Foundation of Thessaloniki) as an administrative executive. During 7/2019-2/2022 she was the Thessaloniki Area Manager of ActionAid Hellas, responsible for setting up the organization's structure/branch in the city. During this time she created the first private Youth Center in Greece. She lives in Thessaloniki where she works as a Creative-Cultural Manager/Development Expert. She has collaborated with institutional and non-governmental organizations, publishing houses, creative agencies, artistic groups on a variety of projects. She participates in conferences and workshops with presentations related to her research interests and professional path. She is a member of many academic institutions & professional organizations.
