Stelios studied Law in Athens and has a master's degree in Private International Law. He has been involved with the commons in the city since 2010, participating in many local initiatives and was part of the team that designed and supported the municipal platform Syathina from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, he co-founded the A.M.K.E COMM'ON, where it supports cross-sectoral collaborations at local and translocal level, especially in small communities in the region, in Greece and in many other countries of the rest of Europe and designs and implements participatory organizational development processes for the empowerment of civil society groups. Since 2019 he has been a member of the design and development team of the Tools for Citizens Toolbox (www.civilsocietytoolbox.org) and has also participated in the organization of the European programs Tandem Europe, Tandem Regions (www.tandemforculture.org) and Civic Europe (www.civic-europe.eu). He is a member of the Board of Directors of the European MitoST Network. In 2020, together with a team of professionals in the field of culture and architecture, they founded SeedAthens (www.seedathens.gr) in Athens.
