Hara Kanari is an Assistant Professor at TEPAE of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the subject of Music Education. She studied Museum Education and Special Education at the University of Thessaly. She received her doctorate on museums and the visually impaired from the same university with a scholarship from the research program HERACLITOS II. Her research interests reflect the interdisciplinary nature of her studies and concern Museum Education, cultural heritage in formal and non-formal education, accessibility and inclusion in the arts and culture. She has taken part in many research projects on museums, access and inclusion of people with disabilities in museums, the arts, and Special Education. Her studies have been published in scholarly journals and collective volumes.
