Grigoris Vardarinos is a director with a rich artistic and professional background. He graduated in 2010 from the School of Fine Arts of the University of Edinburgh, having received a scholarship from the Alexander S. Onassis. From a very early age, he discovered his need to express himself through directing, as this was the only means by which he could combine his artistic vision with his need to tell stories. It focuses on creating conditions that allow each story to be visualized and communicated to diverse audiences, making the most of every available artistic and technical medium.
In his career to date, he has directed award-winning short films, creative documentaries, historical productions and television projects, collaborating with important actors and cultural organizations. At the same time, in 2017, he founded the independent production company le plus petit chefbased in Thessaloniki and Athens, through which he creates original productions that unite creativity with innovation.
His artistic work is characterized by a strong sense of experimentation and the search for new ways of expression, in order to give life to stories that evoke thought and emotion. It also focuses on educating and empowering young artists, designing and implementing educational programs with a focus on young audiences. Today, he is working on his first feature film, combining his experience and passion for art with the desire to explore new artistic paths and create narratives that remain vivid and compelling. For Grigoris, directing is an ever-evolving journey, with each project a new opportunity for creative inspiration and exploration.
