Yoryos Styl has been involved for over 10 years with directing, performing/acting, script writing, photography, programming and more recently with psychotherapy, creating safe/inclusive spaces and training artists. He is a graduate of the Drama School of the Athens Conservatory and has created two techniques of artistic expression, the Y.O. (Why? Ohhh) and Improv-acting. He founded the art groups Inside Spaceman, Kaleidoscope 4, Out of the Way, Gallactica, Why not? and Kynics and has participated in various theatre and film productions. He often creates his own original works in collaboration with other artists. As Artistic Associate of the international art group Duende, he creates works with the aim of synthesizing and conversing the contemporary way of life, technology and deep-rooted human desires, trying to bring out our authentic face, as opposed to what we think we want to be. He strives to constantly integrate new perspectives, methods of artistic expression and expand his own abilities and perceptual processes.
