It is with great pleasure and pride that we congratulate three of the outstanding members of the Culture for Change Network for their recent and important distinctions.
First, the team Boulouki and the cultural manager Dimitra Tsiaouskougloustood out with their initiative, the Traveling Workshop on Traditional Building Techniques. The “Boulouki” group was named as one of the 26 winners of the European Heritage Awards/Europa Nostra Awards 2024, honored for its exemplary work in the category “Education, Training & Skills”. This distinction highlights their dedication to protecting and promoting traditional building techniques.
THE Angeliki Tseliou, together with MONUMENTA and five other European partners, was distinguished for the project Erasmus+ (KA2 - SCH) YoungArchers. This project won the WSIS24 award in the category “WSIS Action Line 9 - ICT applications: Benefits in all aspects of life - e-Learning”, demonstrating its innovation and educational value. Finally, congratulations to Cotranspose and the Angeliki Kosmafor the distinction of the work “Co-llection — an interactive archive to highlight the cultural heritage of B. Evros”. Cotranspose was awarded in the category “Regaining a sense of belonging” of the “New European Bauhaus Prizes 2024” competition, winning the prize of 10,000 euros and gaining a place in the New European Bauhaus community. Their work highlights the importance of local histories and the richness of the cultural heritage of B. Evrou.
